4. Website Information Disclaimer

The content on this website is provided for general information, product awareness, and service enquiry purposes.

While we try to keep information accurate and updated, website content may not always reflect the latest pricing, availability, specifications, offers, finishes, materials, warranty terms, or service areas.

Final project details will be based on:

  • Approved quotation
  • Final measurements
  • Selected materials and finishes
  • Project scope
  • Invoice
  • Warranty certificate
  • Written communication from My Cucina

Images, renders, colours, finishes, and project photos shown on the website are for representation. Actual results may vary based on lighting, screen settings, material batch, site conditions, layout, fabrication, and selected finish.

5. Consultations and Site Visits

My Cucina may offer consultations, showroom visits, design discussions, or site visits based on customer requirements and service availability.

Consultations or site visits may be free or chargeable depending on location, project scope, promotions, or company policy at the time of enquiry.

During consultation or site visit, our team may collect information such as:

  • Kitchen dimensions
  • Layout preferences
  • Storage requirements
  • Material preferences
  • Budget range
  • Appliance requirements
  • Plumbing and electrical details
  • Site readiness information

Any advice given during initial discussions is preliminary and may change after final measurements, technical checks, and design approval.

6. Measurements and Site Conditions

Accurate measurements are important for modular kitchen design and installation.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the site is accessible, safe, and ready for measurement or installation.

Final kitchen design and quotation may change if:

  • Site measurements differ from customer-provided dimensions
  • Walls, flooring, or ceiling are uneven
  • Plumbing or electrical points are changed
  • Civil work is incomplete
  • Appliances or countertop selections change
  • Site conditions are different from what was initially shared
  • Additional work is required after inspection

My Cucina is not responsible for delays or changes caused by inaccurate information, incomplete site work, hidden defects, or third-party modifications.

7. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations are based on the information available at the time of preparation.

A quotation may include:

  • Kitchen layout
  • Cabinet material
  • Shutter finish
  • Hardware
  • Accessories
  • Countertop details, if included
  • Installation scope
  • Taxes, if applicable
  • Payment schedule
  • Estimated timeline
  • Exclusions

Unless specifically mentioned, quotations may not include appliances, civil work, plumbing, electrical work, gas pipeline work, tiling, false ceiling, painting, old kitchen dismantling, debris removal, or third-party contractor charges.

Quotations are valid only for the period mentioned in the quotation. If no validity period is mentioned, My Cucina may revise the quotation due to changes in material prices, hardware prices, taxes, transportation, design scope, or site conditions.

8. Design Approval

Before fabrication begins, the customer may be required to approve the final design, layout, dimensions, material selection, finish, hardware, accessories, and quotation.

Design approval is separate from enquiry submission, consultation booking, or advance payment. Advance payment at the booking stage does not automatically mean final design approval, unless the final layout, material selection, project scope, and quotation have been confirmed in writing.

Once design approval is given, changes may not be possible without additional cost, timeline changes, or design revision.

The customer must carefully review:

  • Cabinet layout
  • Shutter finish
  • Material specifications
  • Storage accessories
  • Appliance spaces
  • Sink and hob positions
  • Countertop details
  • Electrical and plumbing requirements
  • Quotation inclusions and exclusions

Approval through signature, email confirmation, WhatsApp confirmation, signed quotation, or other written communication may be treated as acceptance of the final project scope.

9. Payments

Payment terms will be mentioned in the quotation, invoice, or project-specific communication.

A typical payment schedule may include:

  • Booking amount or advance payment
  • Design or confirmation payment
  • Production or fabrication milestone payment
  • Pre-dispatch or pre-installation payment
  • Final balance before or at handover

My Cucina may pause design, production, delivery, installation, or handover if payments are delayed.

All payments must be made through approved payment methods shared by My Cucina. Customers should not make payments to unauthorised persons or unofficial accounts.

My Cucina will issue an invoice or tax invoice, where applicable, according to the project scope, payment received, GST registration status, and applicable Indian tax laws. Customers should ensure that billing details, GST details if applicable, and project information are shared correctly before invoice generation.

10. Taxes and Additional Charges

Prices may be subject to applicable taxes, duties, delivery charges, installation charges, or other charges as mentioned in the quotation or invoice.

GST, if applicable, will be charged as per prevailing law and shown in the invoice. Any change in tax rate, government levy, or statutory charge after quotation approval may affect the final payable amount.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Design changes after approval
  • Material or finish upgrades
  • Additional accessories
  • Extra site visits
  • Delayed site readiness
  • Reinstallation or shifting
  • Third-party coordination
  • Work outside agreed scope
  • Special transportation or access requirements
  • Repairs due to customer-side damage or third-party work

My Cucina will inform the customer about additional charges where applicable before proceeding with chargeable work.

11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the project stage, work completed, material procurement, fabrication status, and project-specific quotation terms.

Because modular kitchens are custom-made according to individual site measurements, selected finishes, accessories, and approved layouts, cancellation after approval may involve deductions.

Before Design Finalisation

If cancellation is requested before design finalisation or material procurement, My Cucina may deduct reasonable consultation, site visit, design, administrative, or processing charges, if applicable and communicated.

After Design Approval

Once the final design, quotation, layout, or material selection is approved, cancellation may attract deductions for design work, planning, procurement, vendor commitments, administrative costs, and other work already completed.

After Fabrication or Procurement Starts

Once fabrication, custom production, material cutting, hardware procurement, or manufacturing begins, cancellation may not be eligible for refund or may be subject to substantial deductions because the components are made to order.

Customised Products

Custom-made kitchen components, stainless steel cabinets, shutters, accessories, and fabricated items may not be returnable or refundable once production begins.

Refund Review

Refunds, if applicable, will be reviewed case by case and processed after deducting documented costs already incurred by My Cucina, including design, procurement, fabrication, administrative, transportation, vendor, and service-related costs.

Any cancellation percentage, non-refundable amount, or stage-wise deduction mentioned in the approved quotation, invoice, or project agreement will apply to that specific project.

12. Project Timeline

Project timelines depend on:

  • Site readiness
  • Design approval
  • Material availability
  • Finish selection
  • Hardware and accessory availability
  • Payment completion
  • Countertop coordination
  • Third-party work
  • Customer approvals
  • Delivery access
  • Local conditions or restrictions

Estimated timelines are indicative and may change due to factors beyond My Cucina’s control.

My Cucina will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the estimated timeline, but time shall not be considered the essence of the contract unless specifically agreed in writing.

This means estimated timelines are planned in good faith, but reasonable delays caused by site readiness, customer approvals, material availability, third-party work, access issues, weather, transport, or other practical factors will not automatically be treated as breach of contract unless a fixed completion date has been expressly agreed in writing.

13. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information
  • Approving designs carefully
  • Completing payments on time
  • Ensuring site readiness
  • Arranging required civil, plumbing, electrical, gas, or tiling work unless included
  • Providing safe site access
  • Ensuring lift, parking, and delivery access where required
  • Keeping children, pets, and valuables away from the work area
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors where applicable
  • Inspecting work during handover
  • Following care and maintenance guidelines

Delays caused by customer-side issues may affect the project timeline and may result in additional charges.

14. Site Readiness for Installation

Before installation, the customer must ensure that:

  • Civil work is complete
  • Flooring and wall work are complete
  • Plumbing points are ready
  • Electrical points are ready
  • Gas pipeline position is finalised
  • Appliances are available for measurement if required
  • Site is clean and accessible
  • Lift or staircase access is available
  • Required permissions are arranged
  • Old kitchen removal is completed unless included in scope

My Cucina may reschedule installation if the site is not ready.

15. Installation and Handover

Installation will be carried out according to the approved design and agreed scope.

At handover, the customer should inspect the kitchen and inform My Cucina of any visible issues within a reasonable time.

After handover, any new changes, additions, shifting, repairs, or rectification caused by third-party work, customer misuse, or site changes may be chargeable.

Completion or handover may be confirmed through a signed handover document, email confirmation, WhatsApp confirmation, final payment, or written acknowledgement from the customer.

If the customer starts using the installed kitchen before signing a formal handover document, such use may be considered as practical acceptance only for the portions used, unless the customer has already reported visible defects or pending work in writing.

16. Third-Party Work

Some project elements may involve third-party vendors or contractors, such as:

  • Civil work
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical work
  • Gas pipeline work
  • Appliance installation
  • Countertop installation
  • Tiling
  • Painting
  • False ceiling
  • Old kitchen dismantling

Unless specifically included in writing, My Cucina is not responsible for third-party work, third-party delays, third-party damage, or defects caused by other contractors.

If third-party work affects My Cucina’s installation or materials, additional charges and timeline changes may apply.

17. Materials, Finishes, and Product Variations

Natural and manufactured materials may have reasonable variation in shade, texture, pattern, grain, reflectivity, or finish.

Minor variations may occur due to:

  • Material batch differences
  • Lighting conditions
  • Screen display settings
  • Manufacturing process
  • Site conditions
  • Manual installation tolerances
  • Hardware or accessory updates

Such variations will not be considered defects unless they materially affect agreed functionality or fall outside acceptable manufacturing standards.

18. Warranty Terms

My Cucina provides warranty support for eligible components as mentioned in the project warranty certificate.

Warranty coverage may vary based on:

  • Material used
  • Component type
  • Hardware brand
  • Finish selected
  • Project scope
  • Warranty certificate
  • Usage conditions

The warranty does not automatically cover every component or every type of damage.

For complete warranty details, please read:

The warranty page explains covered components, exclusions, support request process, service charges, care guidelines, and warranty certificate details.

19. Care and Maintenance

Customers must follow recommended care and maintenance guidelines to keep the kitchen in good condition and preserve warranty eligibility.

General care may include:

  • Cleaning with mild soap and soft cloth
  • Avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive pads
  • Drying wet areas after cleaning
  • Fixing plumbing leaks promptly
  • Avoiding overloading drawers
  • Avoiding unauthorised modifications
  • Using kitchen components for their intended purpose
  • Contacting My Cucina for authorised service support

Damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, harsh chemicals, third-party work, or unauthorised repairs may not be covered under warranty.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Cucina shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or remote losses, including loss of use, inconvenience, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, third-party charges, or costs not specifically agreed in writing.

My Cucina’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the value of the specific service, component, or work giving rise to the claim, subject to applicable law, warranty terms, and project documents.
